We are funding a study on whether screening newborns for their blood oxygen levels can help reduce deaths by allowing for earlier diagnosis of pneumonia, sepsis and congenital heart defects. The Newborn foundation is screening approximately 90,000 newborns in China and the Philippines as part of this study (note: this is not an RCT)
