The project will provide access to quality education for 3,600 girls in four districts of Pakistan. 120 CBALS will be established and 120 female teachers will be trained to deliver a 30-month compact curriculum. Additionally, 14 formal RF schools will be established to aid the mainstreaming of the CBAL graduates into the formal education system. 240 Village Education Committees will be formed as well as 6 TECs and 4 DECs to ensure community buy-in and encourage long-term change and discourage dropouts. Awareness raising and sensitisation activities (via C4D approach) will be undertaken within the communities, highlighting the importance of girls’ education, alongside VEC engagement.
