Led by Action Against Hunger and including seven national and international partners, the "Consortium project to improve the well-being and health amongst the refugee and host communities in Cox's Bazar" was aimed at improving the well-being and health amongst refugee and local population in Cox’s Bazar (Bangladesh). The project aims to foster equitable and non-discriminatory access to multiple services, including community-based healthcare, nutrition, education, water supply and sanitation, and transitional shelters. The project designed through a participatory approach and implemented in close connection with target communities, especially through the partnership with community-based multi-functional centres. Specific target of the project included women, children, pregnant/lactating women, persons with disabilities, the elderly, as well as gender-based violence and conflict-affected survivors.
