This project is implemented with NRC as lead, and with Concern Worldwide, CESVI and DRC as consortium members. This project aims to support 2,740 drought affected households (19,180 individuals) from Mudug (Jariiban, Gaalkacyo and Hobyo districts). The programme will adapt a community based approach and will target current pre-famine drought affected impoverished communities and IDPs in the target areas. Based on significant identified needs in the target locations, the proposed action focuses on food security/livelihoods. The primary demographic focus is pastoralist dropout IDPs, women and children. Activities include: Cash Transfer to the most vulnerable Households.
