Sri Lanka: Reporting for Change

Reporting for Change investigative journalism project: Selected and trained 73 journalists, supporting them to produce investigative stories. Three dozen pieces were completed and appeared in local print and electronic media. IWPR also provided an opportunity for web-based journalists, students and civil society organisations to enhance their knowledge through investigative reporting evening classes. IWPR continued its advocacy work, holding dialogue sessions linking government and media.
