Reconciliation Initiative

This project trained 140 Afghan journalists and engaged 20,000 young women and men via 200 dialogue forums on related issues around the country. IWPR also produced approximately 250 print and radio articles by young Afghans. Seven citizen watchdog groups were established to investigate issues hindering the peace process, and IWPR helped enhance the capacity of the High Peace Council's spokespeople to better communicate with the public.
