Oxfam IBIS’ proposal for a cross-cutting strategic partnership will focus on all of the strategic priorities set out in the Danish Development Strategy and the Information Note. The change objectives of the strategic partnership proposal each respond to one of the priorities in the following way: The change objective “Just societies: Societies are more equal, and gender just based on inclusive democracies, human rights, accountable institutions, and a just economy” is aligned with the Danish strategic priority on Human rights and democratic values (35% of the total assigned budget). The change objective “Leaving No One Behind: More people enjoy their rights in dignity, living in resilient and peaceful communities before, during and after crisis” responds to the Danish strategic priority on Fragile contexts and Displacement (38% of the total assigned budget). The change objective “Climate Justice: Sustainable, green solutions are increasingly adopted, leading to positive and just change for those least responsible and hardest hit by climate change” embraces the Danish strategic priority on Climate and green solutions. (27% of the total assigned budget). In addition, Oxfam IBIS is committed to the strategic priority of enhancing local leadership and transfers of resources and power to civil society partners in the Global South.
