By increasing the capacity of local civil society organisations (Sadddad, Deir Attieh, Damascus, Aleppo and Eastern Ghouta areas) to provide care and protection for children affected by the conflict, the project aimed to improve the quality of life for the children, through psychosocial support, trauma healing and nutrition. The participating children have diverse ethnic, cultural, and religious backgrounds and are either internally displaced persons or coming from host communities. What the children all have in common, is traumas they live with caused by the long-standing conflict in Syria.
