The CLEAR project mainly focuses on infrastructure interventions relevant to water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) in three districts in Yemen – Hajja and Al-Mahabisha districts in Hajja governorate and Dhamar city in Dhamar governorate. The project aims to improve access to clean and safe water as well as functional sanitation facilities, enhance good hygiene practices, and build WASH-related capacities. The project is planned to be implemented in three phases starting in Hajja district, Al-Mahabisha district, and then Dhamar city. The project is designed to respond to the urgent humanitarian needs of the target communities based on pre-assessments undertaken in the three mentioned districts.
