Reconciliation in Bethlehem: In Bethlehem, there is a unique reconciliation mechanism, where Christians and Muslims have resolved conflicts through dialogue and traditional legal practices for decades. This form of locally based conflict resolution is almost unknown in Denmark, but can provide important insights into how law, religion and coexistence can be united. We will talk to local leaders, lawyers, religious representatives and citizens, all of whom have experience with this practice. The result will be a series of reports that will give Danish law students and other interested parties a rare insight into how reconciliation can be practiced in one of the world's most conflict-ridden regions.
