Re-uniting in the fight for a democratic Ukraine

SD Platform and DSU share a common goal of strengthening democratism, equality and solidarity across the globe. With an ongoing war against Ukraine it is crucial we establish meaningful and solidaric communities for youth in Ukraine, and thus focus on rebuilding Ukrainian political advocatism in a democratic mindset. This specific partnership development aim to build upon the relations within the project group and prepare for a Partnership Application in the fall. Due to the war against Ukraine and developments within the participants of the group in Denmark it is necessary for both groups to meet and re-establish strong connections in order to ensure a sustainable partnership between the organizations. The long term objective of the project is to strengthen SD Platform in Ukraine by broadening their geographical balance through new local branches. Through this, it will be possible to engage even more young Ukrainians in political democratism and strengthen the voice of youth in general.
