Network Activity - DRCY and MRCS: Visit to DRCY?s Annual Youth Camp

The aim is to enable two core MRCS youth volunteers to involve fellow youths in the organisational development of the youth structures of MRCS by strengthening their capacities in implementing the MRCS youth strategy at district level. This is important as the youth divisions and youth sub-divisions play a key role in the successful implementation of the strategy. One chairperson and one Youth Leader will participate in the DRCY's Annual Youth Camp. Here they will gather knowledge, experience, and inspiration on how to engage and involve youths in developing the youth structure of MRCS democratically and in terms of capacity building and training of volunteers. Afterward, the two partici-pants share the learnings in their own districts to increase local youth participation in the MRCS youth strategy and at the MRCS AGM. Therefore, the network activity will support the youth work in MRCS by enabling youths to strengthen their or-ganisation by building strong volunteer management procedures, leadership development trainings, democratic processes, and sharing best practise across local divisions. Furthermore, the network activity strengthens the partnership between MRCS and DRCY and will motivate and inspire the MRCS youth to keep building the capac-ity of their local MRCS sub-divisions.
