Empower 2 Educate (E2E)

VU and YPC would like to present the Educate To Empower (E2E) project, which aims to improve the inclusion of girls and young women in rural areas through education and economic-generating activities. E2E is about economically and politically empowering youth, females especially, by securing their access to (both formal and informal) education and economic opportunities. Here, the primary target is an interconnected ecosystem at the nexus of which we find girls and young women, who face substantial school dropout rates and scarcity of resources despite their creative potential. To tackle this complex phenomenon, we offer a three-levelled approach: Level 1 (National Educators? TOT Seminar), Level 2 (The Rural Entrepreneurship Factory) and Level 3 (documentary, lobbying and large-scale calls for action).
