The aim of this project is to start a club that will serve as a safe place for the vulnerable youth in the area of Bourj Hammoud. The target group is around 70 youth primarily from Syria and Lebanon in the age group 13 to 18 years old. The activities of the club include chill time where youth can have coffee together, play board games and socialize with youth their own age. The club also includes classes e.g. music, language and IT that allow the youth to acquire new skills, and two excursions that will build team spirit among the youths. Furthermore, a summer camp that will include three workshops will address the crosscutting requirements: volunteerism, gender equality and children and young people's influence. All the above-mentioned activities will benefit the youths personal, professional and societal lives, and thus improve their capacities to influence their local society in a positive way.
