SAU and SUMH ABC

Show Abilities Uganda formerly NUDIPU-Youth is an umbrella organization of youth with disabilities that was established in 2003 as a youth wing within National Union of Disabled Persons of Uganda (NUDIPU) to bring together different categories of youth with disabilities including those with mental, intellectual, sensory and physical impairments. SAU targets Youth with Disabilities between 18-30 years of age who are volunteers. SAU works in partnership with the existing Organisations of Persons with Disabilities to implement projects and programs in various areas of interest to youth with disabilities. SAU has been engaged in the Youth leader exchange in partnership with SUMH from 2010 from. The youth leaders will be attached to ABC project as a way of building their capacity in International Project Management and implementation. Furthermore, this project has an extra focus on capacity building of the target district associations. Youth leaders will gain an experience in the implementation and project management as well as boasting their confidence through exposure and networking activities with different partners and volunteers.
