Peer education an approach protecting the rights of young people

The main objective of this project is that young people in Morocco will, through the peer education approach, have the possibility to be aware of their human rights/gender roles and sexual education and therefore be more likely to take active part of their lives. The primary target group will be the peer educators from Denmark and Morocco and the secondary target group will be the young people who will benefit from the activities and campaigns done by the peer educators during the project period. The activities in the project includes a 3 day training of trainers seminar where the peer educators will learn more about training others, community communication techniques and evaluation techniques and impact measurement. 10 days of sensitization and awareness campaigns will then follow in schools, youth Centres in Fes where the peer educators from Morocco will facilitate the sessions around human rights, gender roles and sexual education. After this a local forum 1 day seminar will take place where different stakeholders will be invited. At the end of the project period 4 podcast programs (human rights, gender rolses, sexual education) will be created by the peer educators themselves
