Youth Leading the Implementation of the MRCS Youth Strategy

The aim is to enable two MRCS core youth volunteers to involve fellow youths in the organisational development of the youth structures of MRCS by strengthening their capacities in the implementation of the newly introduced MRCS youth strategy on district level. This is of great importance as the youth divisions and youth sub-divisions play a key role in the successful implementation of the strategy. Two chairpersons from different district youth committees will participate in the DRCY?s Annual General Meeting. Here they will gather knowledge, experience and inspiration on how to engage and involve youths in developing the youth structure of MRCS in a democratic manner. The two participants will afterwards share the learnings in their own districts in order to increase local youth? participation in the implementation of the MRCS youth strategy. Therefore, the network activity will support the youth work in MRCS as a whole by enabling youths themselves to strengthen their organisation by building strong democratic processes and sharing best practise across local divisions. Furthermore, the network activity will contribute to strengthening the partnership between MRCS and DRCY and will motivate and inspire the MRCS youth to keep building the capacity of their local MRCS sub-divisions.
