The project started on 1 March 2023 and will end on 28 February 2027. The project is implemented through a three-fold approach to achieve its overall objective. Firstly, it seeks to empower Tunisian citizens to pursue their rights to access justice (Outcome I) by increasing their awareness about administrative justice, the related rights and means to access them (Output 1), and providing information to local stakeholders to support citizens in their demand of justice (Output 2). Secondly, the project fosters an enabling and more efficient environment for the administrative justice (Outcome II), equipping the Administrative Tribunal (AT) with the tools and skills to provide better access to information to citizens (Output 3), improve judicial services (Output 4), and enhance case management (Output 5). Thirdly, the project aims at enhancing human and fundamental rights (Outcome III) by making legal information on justice available to promote good governance (Output 6) and utilizing it to engage citizens in public conversations at the local and national level (Output 7). The combination of these work streams will eventually improve justice services and raise citizens’ awareness on their fundamental rights, thus contributing to strengthening the rule of law (Impact).
