Strengthening the Accountancy Profession in Uganda

The first phase of a project to strengthen the accountancy profession in Uganda through support to the Institute of Certified Accountants Uganda (ICPAU) by a joint venture between the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS) and Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accounting (CIPFA). The project focuses on increasing ICPAU's relevance and value to stakeholders, and facilitating the adoption and implementation of international standards in Uganda by focusing on education, training, and high-quality professional qualification. Launched under the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) Professional Accounting Organization (PAO) Capacity Building Program funded by DFID.
