Strengthening the Capacity of Public Sector Accounting Professionals in Zimbabwe

A project to strengthen the accountancy profession in Zimbabwe through support to the Public Accountants and Auditors Board, Zimbabwe (PAAB) and other beneficiaries by the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accounting (CIPFA). The project focuses on increasing the number of qualified accountants working in the public sector of Zimbabwe by facilitating the education, training, and professional qualification, and the adoption and implementation of international standards especially the International Public Sector Accounting Standards. Launched under the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) Professional Accounting Organization (PAO) Capacity Building Program funded by DFID.
