Belgian Red Cross-Flanders International strengthens volunteers with an interest in international co-operation as a world citizen. Belgian Red Cross-Flanders International gives the Red Cross volunteers opportunities and provides support to deploy their competencies and actually get to work within the field of international cooperation. Belgian Red Cross-Flanders International is fully committed to activating volunteers. The activities that the volunteers carry out contribute to the higher goal of making vulnerable people self-reliant. In order to achieve this, the intervention strategy focuses on two main areas, namely communication and volunteer support.
