This initiative supports the 2021 Hurricane Grace response in Mexico, which caused heavy rainfall, floods, landslides, overflowing rivers, flooded roads and damage to homes. Damage was also incurred to cash crops and backyard crops, which families depend on for food and livelihoods. Support will be provided through food security and water, sanitation and hygeine, cleaning kits, buckets for carrying and storing water, and water purification tablets. Support through interventions in livelihood recovery and hurricane season prepardeness will also be provided.
