Anticipatory Response for South West Monsoon Flooding (LKA-0174)

The project is provides alternative shelter for vulnerable families that are likely to be affected by the South West Monsoon flodding, offering safe spaces for accommodation while simultaneously ensuring that potential risks of exposure to COVID 19 are mitigated through prevention and behaviour messaging. The project also provides mental and psychosocial support to the affected displaced persons particularly children who are already experiencing anxiety, stress and trauma to be exacerbated as the prolonged lockdown continues.
