Dili Flash Flood Response (TLS-0055)

This project will provide assistance to the Government of Timor-Leste's response to the Dili Flash Floods (13 March 2020) within a context of a growing international COVID 19 pandemic. AHP Agencies will work with Government to identify support areas based on vulnerability and needs assessment. Sectors proposed include distribution of non-food items, WASH, community health messaging (including on COVID 19) and construction support for damaged households, with a focus on affected vulnerable people (people with disabilities, older persons [60+], female single headed households and people pregnant and breasfeeding). Project will have a Do No Harm approach and will prioritise support in all sectors for women, older persons and people with disabilities.
