This project seeks to combat violence against women and girls by building an alternate discourse and narrative that addressing the widely accepted and harmful social norms that too often justify violence against women and girls (VAWG), and shifting these social norms to promote gender equality and non-violence. The project aims to actively engage with college and university students through Art and Edutainment to bring about a positive impactful, lasting and meaningful change in young people's attitudes and behaviour towards VAWG. The project will incorporate a participatory approach that encourages interactive dialogue and a thought process inevitably bringing about a positive behavioural change in support of norms that strengthen women and girls to make informed life decisions and choices and lead a life free from oppression and violence.
