The Agency will also adopt a more targeted approach to food assistance, providing food parcels only to the identified caseload of most vulnerable families. A total of 126,000 Palestine refugees will benefit from three rounds of food distribution over 2019. The new approach is aimed at mitigating the impact of poverty and food insecurity among the most vulnerable groups, while at the same time making the best use of available resources.
