The UNRWA emergency health programme ensures that all PRS residing in Jordan have unrestricted access to free primary health services at the Agency’s 30 HCs, including four mobile clinics, located throughout the country. UNRWA will maintain this level of service provision throughout 2019. PRS are also referred to external service providers for secondary and tertiary health care, with UNRWA covering verified hospitalization costs. Services include- but are not limited to - coverage for those affected by non-communicable diseases (NCDs), including diabetes or hypertension, and those in need of dental screening.
