PPA Timor-Leste Programs Jul-Sep 2014

The Asia Foundation PPA with DFID CHASE is helping to address common challenges to peaceful state-society relations in fragile states, subnational conflict and post-conflict areas and transitional states at risk of renewed conflict. This activity represents programs in Timor-Leste under the PPA during the period Jul-Sep 2014. These activities have the following objectives: 1) More effective mechanisms for societal groups in fragile and transitional states to influence state policy and behaviour; 2) Expanded community-level efforts to improve local security and relations with security forces (police, military).;
