The Asia Foundation PPA with DFID CHASE is helping to address common challenges to peaceful state-society relations in fragile states, subnational conflict and post-conflict areas and transitional states at risk of renewed conflict. This activity represents programs in Southern Thailand under the PPA during the period Oct-Dec 2013. These activities have the following objectives: 1) Governance reforms implemented to reduce grievances of conflict-affected populations in subnational conflict areas; 2) Formal peace processes and informal local peacebuilding efforts strengthened and more credible with conflict-affected populations.;
