To address the acute humanitarian needs and ensure the survival of conflict-displaced and drought affected people, the IRC proposes a twelve-months immediate lifesaving emergency response, which will complement the ongoing ECHO-funded ERM8 project. This will be a country wide response, addressing all emergency needs, with a particular focus on protection and protection mainstreaming. The proposed humanitarian response includes WASH, Health, Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL), Emergency Shelter (ES)/Nonfood Items (NFIs), and Multipurpose Cash Assistance Response (MCAR) to conflict displaced and drought affected people.
