Pyigyitagon Water Supply Project, Mandalay

The project comprises the following components:- A raw water intake and water treatment planet (WTP) with a capacity of 32,000m3/day which will produce potable water in sufficient quantities and quality from the Doke Hta Waddy river.- A transmission main to transport the water to the project area of 13.5 km.- A clear water storage and booster pumping station.- A piped network throughout the project area that will distribute the water within the streets with a total length of 273.5 km.- Service connections to 20,000 households and industries.
