Improving the sustainability performance of the Dutch textile sector

The programme aims to improve the sustainability performance of the Dutch textile sector including their global supply chain impact. The focus will be on influencing buying practices and corporate responsibility policies, actions and reporting, and - given the nature of the textiles sector- also link with its indirect influence in the supply chain, where the majority of the risks are. With regards to the supply chain, the objective is to raise awareness among stakeholders in the Netherlands of key sustainability risks and effective solutions. In the Dutch sector, we will emphasise transparency and due dilligence, which are the foundation for continuous improvement.
