The overall goal of the project is to promote Sustainable Land Management by influencing policy, in order to ensure food security and sustainable livelihoods, restore the ecological integrity of the Kilimanjaro region and provide a basis for economic development. The project increases the capacity of women, youths and the local CSO’s in sustainable land management and development agenda in order to enhance gender and community participation in county, district and national development agenda, and stimulate the adoption of best practices for sustainable land and natural resources management.
