Improving Prospects for Refugees and Vulnerable Host Communities in Lebanon (Migration & Development)

This program is an integrated and comprehensive child protection and livelihoods intervention which targets the most vulnerable children, adolescents (girls and boys) and their families living in urban areas of greater Beirut. Adolescents targeted by the proposed program are between 14 -17 years old and exposed to multiple forms of deprivation; including poverty, exploitation and exposure to other forms of violence such as gender-based violence (GBV). This program will provide integrated child protection services and alternative livelihood opportunities to all children in need, with a specific focus on those children engaged in Worst Forms of Child Labour (WFCL) and children with disabilities. As part of the integrated case management service package, Save the Children provides parents of children engaged in WFCL access to alternative livelihood opportunities and cash assistance. The integrated child protection and livelihood service package will also mainstream the specific needs of girls and boys with disabilities via partnership with Humanity and Inclusion (HI).
