The humanitarian crisis in Northeast Nigeria is one of the most severe in the world today and there are no signs for this human suffering to resolve in the near future. Since May 2015, humanitarian NGOs have been responding to this crisis as a Joint Response. DRA members continue this response to further assist the affected population. The objectives of the response are to save lives and alleviate suffering through integrated and coordinated humanitarian response focusing on the most vulnerable people and to enhance access to humanitarian assistance and protection services through principled humanitarian action. The response will focus on persons affected by the ongoing crisis in Nigeria, with a focus on the most vulnerable population
