In 2021, the North-East Nigeria crisis is going into its twelfth year. The crisis remains one of the most severe in the world. Continued widespread insecurity and hostilities, especially in Borno State, continue to have serious consequences on humanitarian operations and the civilian population. ZOA provides the most vulnerable groups amongst IDPs families with lifesaving food (multipurpose cash) and safe drinking water and sanitation (WASH) services to help them meet their basic needs and live a healthy life. The project is being implemented in Biu and Monguno LGAs. In Biu ZOA is collaborating with SCI which implements child protection and FSL while ZOA implements WASH and Cash. In Monguno the FSL support from ICCO/JDPH, is complemented by ZOA with Cash, while WASH is included for the community. </p>
