The project goal is to reduce avoidable blindness in Kanpur (Urban) and Ramabai Nagar districts. The purpose of the project is to provide affordable and accessible comprehensive & quality eye care services in the underserved & inaccessible areas. The key activities of the project are community awareness & screening camps, capacity building for Comprehensive eye care services, and support for developing the overall health systems. The end of the project is expected to create a better system of eye health in the project area and create community level systems creating better access to eye health and comprehensive eye care systems.
