The project aim is to ensure quality education to children with visual impairment within mainstream education system. Being a very poor area, the project helps children for quality education through training on plus curriculum, medical assessment of both blind and low vision children, providing aids and appliances, skill enhancement camps, training to teachers and relatives, exposure visits, promoting extra-curricular activities, etc. Support from Government was also generated for educational and other benefits. The above intervention will ensure that CVIs will be able to utilise educational opportunities better and have better educational development.
