This project is being implemented in a very challenging area – Mewat, in which there is visible disparity in distribution of wealth. Mewat is one of the districts having lowest female literacy rate and it has nearly 78% Muslim population which is one of the highest in the country; the average family size is 7.5 and is the highest in the State. This project supports 198 low vision and blind children for education and all-round development through addressing the issues of lack of human resources, creating awareness among community, and promoting inclusive education in a situation where current service providers are lacking.
