The project aim is to ensure quality education to children with visual impairment within mainstream education system. For this project work towards building a supportive environment for child education by sensitising and training school teachers, parents and peers. Secondly, through direct intervention, project supports children for quality education through training on plus curriculum, medical assessment of both blind and low vision children, providing aids and appliances, skill enhancement camps, promoting extra-curricular activities, etc. Thirdly, collaborating with concerned Government departments it ensures educational and other benefits for the child. The project will see that Children with Visual Impairment will get education along with their sighted peers.
