DRC (START): Emergency response to the people affected by fire in Kitamba locality, Kasai province.

Age International, through HelpAge International, responded to the fires that broke out in Kasai Province, DRC, on 2nd June 2020. Older people, people with disabilities, pregnant women and unaccompanied children were targeted with unconditional cash, food and/or seeds. Phones were provided to the most vulnerable, handwashing facilities were fixed at distribution sites and 20 emergency public toilets were contracted.
