To provide easy access to services MapAction has established a triage, prioritisation and management system, The Covid-19 Hub, within our Global Help Centre. This will enable efficient assessment of the likely impact, urgency and technical challenge of each task request. We will prioritise the requests likely to have the greatest impact on the most vulnerable populations. In particular these will be: a) Global analysis and coordination through established structures, b) Country level scale up of response, c) Support to chronic emergencies secondarily impacted by the Covid-19 storm (e.g. Current MapAction support to Camp Coordination Cluster Management in NW Syria) d) Thematic areas such as accountability.
We have already started promoting the Covid-19 Service to priority countries and responding organisations.
