The desired outcome of the innovation programme is to build an effective and agile innovation ecosystem cutting across the SPA programme portfolio with the aim of accelerating and scaling new approaches, methodologies, technologies, and partnerships that generates improved outcomes in the SPA. WWF will develop and apply a structured approach to manage the innovation processes under SPA, aiming to support two new innovative ‘cases’ per year. The cases will be selected based on a wide set of criteria including strategic match, urgency, readiness for implementation, potential for upscaling and cooperation with smallholder etc.
