The objective of the project is to achieve 100 % enrolment of girls among the Adivasi tribal community at primary school level, enabling them to complete at least secondary school in 40 villages in Biswanath district, Assam state, North East India. About 1.000 girls will be supported directly with fees, uniforms, etc., while a total of 2.500 children will be supported indirectly through provision of teaching and learning materials so that the primary education syllabuses are delivered qualitatively. Caritas Denmark is implementing the project in cooperation with Tezpur Social Service Society.
