Foundation for Change

The project aims at empowering the Myanmarnese Youth To strengthen their skills through training and workshops, and empower them to become active citizens who are capable of making the change that they see necessary in their own society YMCA Myanmar and KFUM & KFUK have had a successful former 4 years project, and this project will build on this, putting volunteerism, youth rights, diversity, participation and influence in focus In the project, the youth will become a part of a great volunteer culture that aims at providing knowledge, skills and responsibility towards each other, whether living in Yangon or elsewhere in Myanmar The project will on an organizational level be further incorporated into YMCA Myanmar?s work, with the idea to make it sustainable for the organization to carry on, and to be inspired to use these methods in the rest of their work
