Youth Leader Exchange for the Musalaha Youth Group in Bethlehem

The Youth Leader exchange program will be an essential part of IU and Musalaha?s Partnership Project that is taking place from 2020-2021 As there is a great need for the next generation to take an active role in positively impacting their society towards peace and tolerance in Palestine Musalaha and IU took the initiative years ago and are continuing to build religious bridges between Muslim and Christian youth in the Palestinian society The partnership project will have 30 youth that will be supported by a Palestinian core committee and a Danish steering committee This Youth Leader Exchange project is to support the Palestinian core committee and execute the monthly youth group meetings, which is the essential part of the partner project On top of that they will be responsible for one bigger event - a camping weekend for the whole youth group The Youth Leaders will also be an important resource in advocacy work in both Palestine and Denmark The youth leaders will also make weekly videos that will promote the project and advocate for reconciliation and peaceful coexistence
