VU Zambia

The VU project team was overwhelmed by the experiences during our partner identification trip to Zambia in February 2019. The enthusiasm expressed by the young members of YWCA was inspiring, and we felt highly motivated to establish a sustainable partnership with this group, whose democratic values align with ours. The YWCA Youth Department expressed interest to creating stronger ties with youth from Venstres Ungdom. More specifically, the young people wanted to ensure a platform of communications and a strong sense of coherence across all districts. Based on this discussion, Venstres Ungdom wishes to conduct a second preparatory study in Zambia. The purpose of the trip is to strengthen partnership and jointly work on the application and preparations for a pilot project. The proposed project is to facilitate a YWCA youth convention where the experience of VU, hopefully, could contribute to a successful outcome.
