Citizens are increasingly worried about global environmental problems, but do not adjust their behaviour sufficiently to them. With this programme, BOS+ wants to contribute to the transition to a sustainable and inclusive global society, in which production and consumption systems take account of the limits of natural and human capital. We focus on two important target groups: with children (<12y) we work around ecosystem services (with a focus on climate) using art educational methodologies (SO1); with young people and young adults (15-25y) around a concrete and action-oriented response to threats to forests worldwide in their own environment (SO2). In addition, we are investing in the capacity building of intermediaries: teachers and art educators in SO1 and teachers and the Belgian public in SO2. The Belgian public plays an important role, among others the peers of the direct target groups are part of it, the communication and activities towards the Belgian public can also change the social climate and thus influence the target groups and the policy context.
