EKN MSIY Annual Report Jan - Dec. 2022
Cover Letter
Financial Report (Jan-Dec 2022)
Fund Statement at 31-Dec-2022
Results Framework
1. Better SRH information and greater freedom of choice for young people
% of calls to shababline from youth (under 24)
Target estimated for the end of the project
Sensitivity around security means we are currently unable to collect age data, amongst other personal information, from all callers unless it is relevant to the particular health issue being discussed. The percentage reflects the number of young clients from the total number of callers, including those whose age is unknown.
1. Better SRH information and greater freedom of choice for young people
# of SRH shows aired on Shababline's Facebook and Youtube pages.
Target estimated for the end of the project
1. Better SRH information and greater freedom of choice for young people
# of staff and providers trained in VCAT.
Target estimated for the end of the project
Training of trainers for VCAT is not permitted, so progress is slow as only MSIY staff can conduct training and only in the south.
1. Better SRH information and greater freedom of choice for young people
% of clients counselled on and provided with a FP in centres that are adolescent (19 and under)
Target estimated for the end of the project
1. Better SRH information and greater freedom of choice for young people
% of clients counselled on and provided with a FP in centres that are young clients (under 25).
Target estimated for the end of the project
1. Better SRH information and greater freedom of choice for young people
% of clients counselled on and provided with a FP service through social franchises that are adolescent (19 and under)
Target estimated for the end of the project
1. Better SRH information and greater freedom of choice for young people
% of clients counselled on and provided with a FP service through social franchises that are young clients (under 25).
Target estimated for the end of the project
2. Improved access to contraceptives and medicines
# of RH services clients served through MSIY centres.
Target estimated for the end of the project
As per last three quarters, note that the wording of the indicator has changed. This is to align with the target of 825,500, which refers to the # of clients in the logframe as opposed to the # of services.
2. Improved access to contraceptives and medicines
# of FP/PAC services delivered through MSIY centres.
Target estimated for the end of the project
As per last three quarters, this is now calculating the number of services as per the indicator and aligned with the logframe target.
2. Improved access to contraceptives and medicines
# CYPs delivered through MSIY centres.
Target estimated for the end of the project
2. Improved access to contraceptives and medicines
# of RH services clients served through the Social Franchise network
Target estimated for the end of the project
As per last three quarters, note that the wording of the indicator has changed. This is to align with the target of 1,600,000, which refers to the # of clients in the logframe as opposed to the # of services.
2. Improved access to contraceptives and medicines
# of FP/PAC services delivered through the Social Franchise network
Target estimated for the end of the project
As per last four quarters, this is now calculating the number of services as per the indicator and aligned with the logframe target. Changes in opating context has led to a contraction of CMWs in the north and the expansion of the network on the south. The population density is lower in the south than the north, many different organisations are working with community midwives and the authorities frequently provide ineligible or unproductive midwives for MSIY to recruit from. The inial targets do not take into account current realities as initial targets were set before the exceptional operating context changes.
2. Improved access to contraceptives and medicines
# CYPs delivered through the Social Franchise network
Target estimated for the end of the project
2. Improved access to contraceptives and medicines
# of RH services clients served through the outreach/PSS teams.
Target estimated for the end of the project
Inclusion of PSS (former outreach) and PSS (Performance Based Financing) teams. This does not include PSS MVA teams. Differs from results framework which includes only PSS (former outreach).
As per last three quarters, note that the wording of the indicator has changed. This is to align with the target of 101,000, which refers to the # of clients in the logframe as opposed to the # of services.
2. Improved access to contraceptives and medicines
# of FP services delivered through the outreach/PSS teams.
Target estimated for the end of the project
As per last four quarters, this is now calculating the number of services as per the indicator and aligned with the logframe target.
Inclusion of PSS (former outreach) and PSS (Performance Based Financing) teams. This does not include PSS MVA teams. Differs from results framework which includes only PSS (former outreach).
2. Improved access to contraceptives and medicines
# of LTM FP services delivered through the outreach/PSS teams.
