Right Here, Right Now - dance4life
The first year of Right Here Right Now will be focused on setting up the programme and partnership at global, regional and national level. This entails both setting up structures for the partnership to be operational as well as investing in the partnership as such through alignment in views, values and working principles. Activities in the first year at national level will be focused on the implementation of the roadmap as described in the programme document, whereby dance4life’s role will be focused on supporting regional and national partners in integrating a meaningful youth participation approach throughout the partnership and process and support in engaging the general public and young people’s reality in advocacy strategies. Activities at global level will focus around international advocacy (through the advocacy working group) and development of a vision, strategy and plan on capacity development through the capacity development working group. dance4life together with the other partners in the partnership will actively participate in both working groups, bringing in our specific expertise on youth advocacy at national and international level, MYP and communications/campaigning fed by SRHR stories from the grass-root level.

GUSO Kenya
The program Get up, Speak out! (GUSO) raises awareness amongst young people of their sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), with all the consequences that that entails, and will give them a voice. Get up, Speak out! is a unique and strong concept that will tackle several levels at once. It focuses on strengthening the individual capacity of young people and at the same time GUSO will improve the (availablility of) sexual and reproductive health services and referral system to these services. GUSO is implemented in Kenya, Ethiopia, Ghana, Uganda, Malawi and in Asia in Indonesia and Pakistan. In GUSO young people will be involved at all levels, from the set up of the programme to the decision-making. Parents, care-takers, teachers and community leaders will also be involved. dance4life brings expertise on SRHR information and education. Targeting youth in- and out-of schools, d4l - together with the partner organization - engage young people through dance, music, theatre and online platforms and empower them to increase their confidence, to change attitudes and norms and behaviors.
The long-term objectice of GUSO is: All young people, especially girls and young women, are empowered to realise their SRHR in societies that are positive towards young people’s sexuality. The GUSO Theory of Change consists of 5 Interrelated outcomes ot reach the long-term objective: 1. Strengthened and sustainable alliances 2. Empowered young people voice their rights 3. Increased use of SRHR information and education 4. Increased use of youth-friendly SRHR services 5. Improved socio-cultural and legal environment
Young people aged (10-24) are both the actors and beneficiaries of the GUSO programme
